ACT's Challenger competition converters are the ultimate racing converters. Offering stalls of between 4000 and 6000 RPM, the Challenger converter is fully furnace brazed. The Challenger's one piece forged steel pump cover was designed to minimize the rotating weight that robs a car of power and plays the role of an anti-ballooning plate. The 8î Challenger converter features a new hardened steel pump hub, a hardened turbine hub, heavy duty needle bearing and is fully balances.
